Dayton Contemporary Dance Company
The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company’s 2025 spring concert will offer an opportunity for audience members to enjoy new dance pieces commissioned for the Company and created by several award-winning choreographers. This experience, entitled New Choreography for New Generations, offers an unusual happening in the dance world as multiple pieces designed specifically for DCDC will appear on one program.
Considered for this exciting program are artists who have established rich dance legacies from Hip-hop culture and history, Black theatrical life, contemporary dance storytelling, and form and function of Black dance towards abstraction.
The Miriam Rosenthal Foundation’s $50,000 grant will help underwrite choreography and production fees for this spring program.
